Our Annual
Scrap Metal Drive
May 21 - 26
It is time for our Metal Recycling fund raiser. Division Metal will drop off the collection unit on Thursday, May 21st and pick it up on Tuesday, May 26th. The easy way to remember is that it will be here over the Memorial Day Weekend. We have been collecting and recycling metal for almost 15 years and it has been very beneficial. The cleaner the metal, the higher the value. Meaning that if you remove non-metal parts, then we will get a higher rate. If you have steel (magnet test), then put that directly into the collection unit. If you have other metals, like copper, aluminum, lead, etc., then put them in the fenced-in dumpster unit. We will take those back separately. Their rates are significantly higher. If you have something like a lawn mower, please properly drain the gas, oil and other fluids. If you have metal, but cannot bring it to the church property, then contact the church office. Our average profit is just over $450! Our total profit is just under $7,000!

The United Methodist Church is an 12.8-million-strong global church that opens hearts, opens minds and open doors through active engagement with our world.
John Wesley and the early Methodists placed primary emphasis on Christian living, on putting faith and love into action. This emphasis on what Wesley referred to as "practical divinity" has continued to be a hallmark of United Methodism today.
Middleville UMC is a church that has a “Passion for Loving God and Loving Others”. This vision comes directly out of the great commandments and informs everything we do as a church. As you become familiar with us, you will notice that our desire is to follow Jesus Christ in our worship, fellowship, witnessing, prayer, and teaching! God says that Jesus is not only the foundation of the church but also the head of the church and that excites us!
We want you to feel connected at Middleville UMC! That happens as you get to know the people and the staff at the church but, beyond that, it happens as you find your place to serve the Lord and make a difference in the lives of others. We have many ministries in the church that exist to serve those who attend our church, but they also provide ways in which you can be a part of serving others.
