Welcome Friends

“One Christian is no Christian, for we cannot be Christian alone – we

are created for community.” Of course, Jesus said this another way, saying that where two or three are gathered in his name, he is there with them.

We do many things as a church. We worship, pray and sing together. We get in touch with and respond to the needs of those who struggle in the world, whether they are as far away as the other side of the globe, or as close as our next door neighbor. We send people, young and old, off on mission trips so that we can get a more expansive view of how God’s people are working and growing in other places. We involve ourselves in the hurts and hopes of our fellow worship-ers, not because we are nosey, but because God has called us to love and to care for one another. But beyond all of the things we do, what matters most is who we are. We are a community called together by Jesus Christ, and we have a simple purpose: “to make disciples of Christ for the transformation of the world.” It is something we cannot do alone, and so we gather as the Church to encourage, pray, and love one another so that we have the strength for this great work.

We pray that you enjoy your time here with us and sensed the welcoming love that flows from Jesus, to us, and through us to his creation of which you are one.

Please be aware we also offer help for life challenges and have a loving community of faith willing to present the love of Jesus to all who are in need of an alternative to what the world has to offer. If we may be of help, please don’t hesitate to ask for assistance.

May the Lord Bless You and Keep you!
